History

The first Photo Still course was held in May 1969 at the School of Signals in Balcombe, Victoria. The Balcombe-Mount Martha area has been used for military activities since 1886.

The course was led by Warrant Officer Class 2 Clive Reddicliffe, and ably supported by Ian McCann and Graham Wright, who were ex-national service photographers.

The first attendees were Robert (Bob) Harris, Greg Garth, Kevin Tuckwell (ex-nasho) and Chuck Chandler, all Signalmen.
